History of forcespenpals.co.uk
In November 2002 forcespenpals.co.uk was developed for the British armed forces, and started off with old fashioned letter sending via "SnailMail" and the Penpals were matched by a human being.
The response was tremendous and the original owner soon found that she was struggling with the demand, so she realised she had to have a website built. Although dating app development costs were quite high, she believed that a community and support network for the military was a worthy cause and worth investing in.
Forcespenpals.co.uk went live 12 months later, November 2003 and there are now well over 381000 registered military and civilian users and many people have found partners on here include at least four marriages that we know of!
